Apple Pie Bread




           Apple Pie Bread

3/4 cups sugar
2 heaping teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup oil
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 salt
6 medium Gala or Fuji or Honey Crisp apples
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda



Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 

In a mixing bowl; beat oil and eggs with an electric mixer until creamy. Add the sugar and vanilla and beat well.
Fold in the apples by hand using a wooden spoon. As soon as the apples are sliced fold in to coat to keep apples from turning brown.


Combine the flour salt, baking soda, and ground cinnamon together in a bowl. Slowly add this mixture to the egg mixture and mix until combined. . Spread batter into the prepared pan or pans.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 to 55 minutes or until cake  tests done. Use a 9" X 13" pan or two 9" pans.
 Let cake cool on a wire rack. Once cake is cool serve with a dusting of confectioners' sugar or with a Cream Cheese Frosting.
◇◇◇I will use confectioners' sugar but either is fine. 

Also baking. I use a convection oven and we'll test after 40 minutes most likely no longer than 45 but in the standard to slow oven it will most likely take 55 minutes.
