Easy Pulled Pork

Have you ever made pulled pork or do you think it’s just too hard or too much work?
I believed both statements were true.
But what got me started on trying to make the pulled pork was a simple Idea I just had to try.
I told myself even if I can’t do the pulled pork part of this recipe I should at least I get some really well flavored pork.
I was happily surprised when it turned out to be one of the simplest things I ever did!
This was the recipe.
You will not even need to write this one down!
Crock Pot
20oz can of root beer.
Salt and Pepper
Pork (and  in my case I used boneless ribs but I use boneless ribs for everything.)
I placed the ribs in the crock pot favored it with salt and pepper then poured the root beer over it and then covered the crock pot put the temperature on low and let it slow cook for six hours.
When the ribs were done I drained the root beer from the crock pot and then removed the ribs.
I let the ribs cool down for a few minutes so I would not burn my fingers.
After a few minutes it was time to try and see if I could make the pulled pork. First I tried a fork and knife. That didn’t work very well. Next I tried my fingers and a combination of fingers and fork. Once again not successful. Finally I tried two forks to pull apart the pork and it worked like a charm!
I discovered that when you do pull the pork that you get a lot of meat to use in a meal or two meals.
In my case I used it in two.
The first one was BBQ pulled pork. The second thing I made was pulled pork in sour cream gravy. All I had to do to make this gravy was water a little chicken bouillon and sour cream.
It’s a really good tasting recipe that is easy to make.
The first part of the original meal took one minute. Later including pulling the pork once I figured out how to do it took two minutes. Add a minute or two to the assembly and you’re done.
The second meal took perhaps a couple minutes less because you already had the pork.
That made this meal easy inexpensive and took a very short time to make!
Now who wouldn’t want that?
