Kitchen
Sink Spaghetti Sauce & Raviolis
Today I am making what I call kitchen sink spaghetti sauce.
So what is kitchen sink spaghetti sauce?
Easy just what it sounds like. I am taking all the left over vegetables both
cooked and raw and putting them in some left over sauce with a little wine.
My sauce today will have peppers, onions, mushrooms and celery.
Checking the freezer I have a small package of Italian sausage
and a few leftover meatballs.
Perfect!
I took the crock pot from the pantry and first poured some
wine in the bottom. This time since I am out of Clemente Chianti I am using Riunite
lambrusco. Next I added the left over sauce, vegetables, and meat.
Then I covered the pot and put it on high. Later I will
reduce the crock pot to low and add the raviolis. It will take maybe an hour at
low to cook the ravioli until ready to eat.
When dinner is ready I will make a small toss salad to enjoy
along with this meal.
Remember leftovers can be enjoyed and used in different
forms as I plan to do today.
