Easy Creamy Vanilla Fudge & Peanut Butter Fudge
Today is a day I need a major
food sin. I am not going to say what happened it’s too personal but
believe me when you see what I am making
you will understand without explanation.
I decided to make fudge.
The fudge will do more than
sooth my emotions it will again help make some room in my pantry.
I of course chose an easy and economical
fudge that tastes great!
Here are the recipes for two
different fudges:
Easy Creamy Vanilla Fudge
Ingredients:
3 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
6 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon
vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
Directions
1.
Grease a 9x5 inch
pan. Set aside.
2.
In a 3 quart
saucepan, over very low heat, mix together confectioners sugar, butter, milk,
vanilla, and salt until mixture is creamy.
3.
Pour quickly into
greased 9x5 inch pan. Refrigerate until firm, then cut into squares. Store in
an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Easy Peanut Butter Fudge
Ingredients :
Original recipe
makes 1 - 8x8 inch pan
1/2 cup butter
2 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

Directions:
1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium
heat. Stir in brown sugar and milk. Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes,
stirring frequently.
2. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and
vanilla.
3. Pour over confectioners' sugar in a large
mixing bowl.
4. Beat until smooth
5. Pour into an 8x8 inch dish. Chill until firm
and cut into squares.
