Easy Tzatziki Sauce!
Hands up who loves the sauce that comes on your gyros? Yup me too!
I always wanted to know how to make it and since I have some steak-ums in the freezer and could make my own version of a beef gyro I decided this would be a good time to learn how to make this sauce.
I found the recipe and wanted to share it with everyone who loves this sauce as much as I do.
Here is the recipe to use on your beef, lamb, or chicken kebabs; pita sandwiches or burgers;
crudités or baked pita chips.
Tzatziki
Ingredients3/4 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
1/4 cup cucumber (grated peeled)
1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
2 tsps red wine vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper (freshly ground)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
Directions
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl.
