Southern Comfort Whiskey Cookies
Tired of making rum balls for the holiday for you contribution to an alcohol infused cookie for your family (adult) to enjoy?
Here is cookie that is different and something many will enjoy.
I will leave this up to you if you want to make these cookies but they are easy to make and are definitely good!
I may make these cookies for the up coming holiday since I am making a Southern Comfort Pumpkin Pie for my friends daughter for Thanksgiving and I will have some of this liquor left over. I don't drink dark liquor so I might as well find a use for it and this seems like a good choice .
Here is the recipe:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. walnuts, finely ground ( you can buy crushed black walnuts at the Dollar Tree)
2 c. flour

Directions:
1. Mix butter and sugar together well
2. Add flour; mix. Add walnuts. Mix well.
3. Add Southern Comfort; mix.
4 .Cut dough into three or four parts.
5. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
6. Take a half-handful or less of dough at a time
7. Roll on floured board into a long rope
