5 Minute Fudge & Bonus
Frosting
The other day I posted some fudge I had made on Facebook. I found the recipe in an email I received. It said five minutes, it seemed simple, and it used the microwave. What was there not to love?
I had to give it a try and did. The peppermint fudge turned out so well I used the same idea and made chocolate walnut fudge.
Here are the recipes and a bonus.

The fudge turned out so good! It is truly high ooctane that is truly heavenly!
The next day I was making cut outs. I will c0nfess I use a mix I use Betty Crocker. The way I look at is if I can not make it better then use the mix so I do.
OK the cut outs are made there are two dozen regular size cutouts and two dozen small stars.
Now the stars I knew exactly what frosting I was going to use. On these I was going to use a combination of confectionary sugar and Vodka. You heard me right Vodka!
You make this the same way you do when you make it with water just use the Vodka instead. It was great!
Now it was time to frost the larger cookies.
I was deciding what to do when I looked over at the counter at the fudge. I had made way too much peppermint fudge. That was when I had an idea. I took three pieces of fudge into a microwave bowl and put it in the microwave for thirty seconds .It melted perfectly. I then took a brush and brushed the fudge onto of the cookies.
When the cookies were cooled I tried one. OMG! It was delicious!
I don’t make many sweets because I am not a sweet fan. But these cookies could be the exception to that rule!
From now on this is how I am going to frost all my cookies this way.
I hope you give these ideas a try I know you will enjoy them!
Update:
This year I save out a half cup of fudge before I added the peppermint so I would have vanilla frosting for my cookies.
