Can cheeseburgers be good for you?

Can cheeseburgers be good for you?
That is what I am trying to find out for my friend Andy who is addicted to them.
I promised I would look into their heath value when we talked earlier this week.
We all know that a thick, juicy cheeseburger is a tasty sandwich and the though of enjoying one can make your mouth water thinking about eating one.
I was hoping to find something good about them for his sake and mine because I also enjoy a cheeseburger from time to time myself.
So I went on a research journey to find out the positive and negatives of eating and enjoying a cheeseburger.
The first thing I wanted to do was find out the nutrition facts of a cheeseburger and there are some positives.
Cheeseburgers contain: Protein 15 g, Vitamin A, Calcium, Iron, Vitamin B-6, Vitamin B-12, Magnesium, and Fiber. All this is great but there is one more fact you need to know and that is the fact of how much saturated fat there is in one cheeseburger.
The first article I came across was this information provided by sfgate and they also make reference to findings from the Mayo Clinic in this article.
The findings they came up with were a real wake up call.
They found the saturated fat in one cheeseburger has more saturate fat than you should have in one day but not over the limit, but then if you add an extra patty or two, and you've eaten more than you need for the entire day.
You can still enjoy an occasional cheeseburger, but regularly eating these sandwiches, can contribute to chronic health problems.
According to the Mayo Clinic the saturated fat in cheeseburgers can contribute to, type 2 diabetes, and put you at a higher risk for heart disease.
That a single-patty cheeseburger contains 5.25 grams of saturated fat and a double-patty cheeseburger has 10.55 grams.
The Mayo Clinic suggests that you limit your intake of saturated fat to 10 percent or less of your total caloric intake in one day. The suggested average caloric intake for most of us is 2000 calories making a cheeseburger more than double the saturated fat we should be putting into our bodies.
I  suggest you be smart about it and think about your heath and ask yourself if eating excessive amounts of cheeseburgers is worth the risk to your health now that you know the facts.

That being said and knowing that too many cheeseburgers could not possibly good for you is logical, I don’t know about you but I do not intend to deny myself a cheeseburger when I want one. Yes I will go over the saturated fat for one day.
