Not Your Mama's Tuna Casserole
Today while I was standing at the stove snacking on what is to be dinner.
An idea hit me. Why not take the idea of this casserole and with a few changes make it tuna instead?
So of course I did.
Below is what I came up with. It turned out great and I believe you will enjoy it as much as I did.
Not Your Mama's Tuna Casserole
Ingredients:
1 can of tuna
1 package of stove top stuffing (you pick the flavor)
1 small can green beans, French style (I love green beans so I used a large one)
1 can cream of mushroom soup (or any cream soup)
1/2 can milk
Directions:
Make half the stuffing as directed or you will get hard stuffing when the
Tuna Casserole is cooked and ready to eat.
In large buttered casserole dish, put in half of the stuffing.
In a bowl mix
the chicken soup, milk and green beans.
Pour on top of the stuffing and top
with the remaining stuffing.
Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Easy right?
It is and so affordable!
It is and so affordable!
By the way you can substitute chicken if you want.
