5 Minute Chicken Parmesan From Freezer To Cleanup

5 Minute Chicken Parmesan From Freezer To Cleanup

I know you’re saying no this is not possible. Yes it is!
This is how it's done.
First take a Tyson Chicken filet out of the freezer and allow it to defrost. Oh dear it’s a last minute thing? Don't worry just put it on a microwave safe dish and defrost it for one minute. No real time lost here. We are not breading it for obvious reasons but if you like the breaded version then use the Tyson breaded fillets instead.
Next take that small jar of sauce out of the refrigerator. If you don't have one then put it on the shopping list and open the larger one for now. You can divide it up the sauce you have left and freeze it.  Make sure when you buy spaghetti sauce you get meatless. For two reasons, first it lasts longer and second you will find that you will have more variety of when and how you can use it.
Next get out the shredded cheese. Now it's time to assemble.
Place the chicken on a microwave safe dish, then cover the chicken with two tablespoons of sauce. Then top it with a handful of shredded cheese and place in the microwave for two an a half minutes covered.
By the way the covers meant to be used in the microwave are right now only a dollar at the Dollar Tree. These covers usually run between three and five dollars each so it’s a good time to pick one up.
While the chicken is cooking choose your side dish. Myself I like cottage cheese with chopped onion. You on the other hand may prefer a vegetable or a side salad. It's all up to you after all it’s your dinner not mine.
Take the dish out of the microwave and you are ready to sit down to dinner.  Unless you want this served over a slice of bread. If so now is the time to take a spatula and lift the chicken and place it on a slice of Italian bread. I prefer not to waste my calories this way but if this is something you enjoy then this would be the time to do it.
No I did not mention pasta. It would have taken too long and I just don't like to eat that much starch on a regular basis.
Here is a suggestion. If you like pasta a time saving move would be to cook a full pound of your favorite kind and when it cools place the pasta in a sandwich bag. Allow the pasta to freeze then remove the pasta from the freezer when it is frozen and place the baggies in a gallon size freezer bag. This way you have pasta on hand anytime you want it.
Clean up needless to say is fast and easy and before you know it you have enjoyed a wonderful Chicken Parmesan done the easy and fast way!
