I AM SICK OF WINTER SLOPPY JANES STEW
Are you as tired of winter as I am?
I know you must be.
I decided that maybe a feeling of summer might be just right so I came up with my version of Sloppy Janes. I bet if you have been reading my blog you would know it would involve hot dogs!
I made this today and make a couple of changes that make this go from good to great!
Also I know you are saying why don't I just make beans and hots and not go though this slow cooker meal?
The reason is by doing it this way it changes the flavor and makes a nice broth and turns this into a delicious stew.
You can put this over bread or buns but I like eating like a stew in a bowl.
I will leave this up to you.

I AM SICK OF WINTER SLOPPY JANES STEW
Ingredients:
2 hot dogs I prefer one white and one red
2 hot dogs I prefer one white and one red
7 ounces baked beans
1/4 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/2 small minced onion
2 tablespoons chili sauce
In slow cook pot, combine hot dogs, beans, mustard, onion, and chili sauce. Cover and cook 2 to 3 hours. Spoon over toasted buns.
Don't precook the onions.
The flavor the onions add when cooking adds a depth to the flavor.
