St. Patrick's Day Mint Shakes To Enjoy All Year Long!
I don't know about you but I love the mint shakes McDonald's puts out every year for St Patrick's Day.
What I don't like is that they are only available for a short time every year. So I though it was my duty to find out the recipe for these shakes.
I did some testing of several websites and finally found the right one.
All of the recipes were basically the same but I liked the one ingredient that only the Food Network used Vanilla.
So below is my version of the St. Patrick's Day Mint Shakes to enjoy all year long:
Ingredients
1 pint vanilla ice cream (2 cups)
1/4 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 or 4 drops green liquid food coloring
Directions
Blend the ice cream, milk, peppermint extract, vanilla and food coloring in a blender until smooth. Pour into one or two serving glasses and garnish with whipped cream
Now all you have to do is pour and enjoy!
