Grilled Salmon with Dill and Lemon
Spring is here and summer is quickly approaching.So it is grilling time. Lets celebrate with grilling some fish today.
The first rule in grilling fish is a hot grill so the fish cooks quickly and seals in the juices. You want a tasty, and flaky fish when you are done.
Here is a recipe of how to cook a grilled salmon:
Ingredients:
- 2 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoons lemon zest
- 1 teaspoons dried dill
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Directions:
1 combine lemon juice, zest, oil, dill and garlic in a large resealable bag.
2 Add salmon and turn to coat.
3 Refrigerate for 2 hours.
4 Preheat grill
Remove salmon from bag and place on hot grill.
Brush salmon with marinade from the ziptop bag.
Grill salmon for about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
Remove when done.
Salmon should be light in color and flake easily through the thickest part.
While the grill is getting ready for the fish,. grill some fresh zucchini or eggplant you have brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt and fresh ground pepper.
When the fish is done you have a great meal to enjoy.
