Rib Eye Steak w/ Peppers & Onions, & Roasted Fingerling Potatoes
Tonight I decided to have a nice dinner.
It will begin with a rib eye steak cooked with peppers and onions and roasted fingerling potatoes roasted with rosemary and garlic on the side.
Sounds like a lot of work right? Wrong. I went to Walmart and got a lot of frozen vegetables including the ones mentioned.
The Potatoes are by Premium Gourmet.They have Yellow, Laratte, Red Thumb, and Purple Pelisse potatoes roasted in rosemary and garlic I will add a hard roll that you see in the picture. It should be a wonderful dinner!
I bet your saying but this is not a two dollar dinner! Wrong again. Walmart has a special this week where they have six ribeye steaks for five dollars. The steaks are not huge but they are large enough for one person.
The vegetables were only a dollar a bag.
So yup this meal is under two dollars!
I may not be a gourmet chef but I am a good suvival cook that knows you can have a great meal on a budget!
To cook the Steak
Put a splash of red wine in the bottom of the pan add the veggies, then top with a pad of butter sea salt and fresh ground pepper.

- Only cook for a few minutes until browned on the outside but still pink on the inside.
