Bacon-Wrapped Buffalo Chicken Bites
Superbowl Sunday is coming and its time to go shopping and stock up on goodies for your friends to enjoy during the game.
Here is the first one I am going to share with you:
Bacon-Wrapped Buffalo Chicken Bites
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 oz. Cream Cheese, cut into 48 pieces
1 package Bacon, cut into thirds
1/2 cup FRANK'S Red Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce/or your wing sauce choice
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
Directions:
HEAT oven to 400°F. Cut chicken into 48 pieces.
TOP each chicken piece with cream cheese piece; wrap with 1 bacon piece. Secure with wooden toothpicks; place on foil-covered rimmed baking sheet.
BAKE 15 to 18 min. or until chicken is done. (Bacon will not be crisp.)
MIX wings sauce and sugar until blended; brush onto bacon-wrapped bundles. Bake 8 to 10 min. or until bacon is crisp, and sauce is hot and bubbly.
These are the full directions but you know me well enough to know I have a short cut.
I buy the buffalo boneless wing
This is the one I get: Buffalo Style Boneless Chicken Wyngz. This will cut out about 20 minutes of cooking . I do baste the chicken bites with a combo of Red Hot and Butter as soon as the bacon begins to crisp.
Since these are already cooked and treated with sauce all you have to do is cook the bacon until crisp and enjoy!
More recipes are going to be posted soon.
