New Mexican Meatloaf With Stove Top Stuffing
The other day someone posted a recipe from Stove Top Stuffing using it for meatloaf.
I though maybe just maybe I would like it made from this stuffing mix.
I have a hard time eating things with what I call wet bread. I usually don't like stuffing at all but over the years found I do like some Stove Top Stuffing. Thats why I though I would give it a try, Of course I had to add a little New Mexican twist to it.
Here is what I did:
New Mexican Meatloaf With Stove Top Stuffing
Ingredients:
1/2 box of chicken flavored Stove Top Stuffing
1 1/2 cup of water
1/2 package onion soup mix
Mexican shredded cheese
Banana peppers
1 lb of ground beef
Instructions:
1. Bring to boil water then add all the ingredients to the hot water and mix together
2 Put 3/4 of mixture in a bunt pan
3. Then top that mixture with a sprinkling of shredded cheese and sliced banana peppers
4. Then top with the remainder of the meat loaf mixture.
5. Bake in oven at 350 for 45 minutes
Thats it let it stand for about twenty minutes then serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
