Crockpot Cherry Rice Pudding

I almost forgot to tell you what's for dessert that's also going to be easy this year. I will get out my smaller crock pot I will add the following:

Ingredients:

1 1/2  cups milk (  I like it creamy so I will add some half and half)
1 cup of hot cooked rice
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup dried cherries or cranberries I'm using cranberries
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup of water
Sprinkling of nutmeg

Directions:

Mix and put all ingredients except water. in one and a half quart Bowl or casserole dish after you have buttered  it.
Place in slow cooker cover and cook on low for four and a half to 5 hours.
When you remove it from the slow cooker let it sit for 15 minutes before serving that's it all done.
