Fancied Up Jar Apple Sauce

Are you ready for Easter?
I am finally I know what I'm going to make.
I am going to keep it simple and delicious.
Ham with brown sugar cider vinegar and apples
the vegetable steamed asparagus
The real treat is the applesauce and that's what I want to share with you today.
We made this was made by my family  for well over a hundred years.
No one in my family cooked until I was taught how to do it so we had to find easy ways around preparing things and this was a favorite:

Ingredients:

Medium jar of applesauce natural is best in this case
2 egg whites
Sprinkling of nutmeg or cinnamon

Directions:

Whip egg whites until stiff
Mix a sprinkling of nutmeg or cinnamon whichever one you prefer into the applesauce
Then gently fold the egg whites into the applesauce.
That's it it's done and it is so good!
